Mountain Ventures
Mountain Ventures needed a re-working of their existing website. As an organisation that specialises in outdoor adventure, training, a team-building, from its base in the Wicklow Mountains, they wanted a website that could be easily updated by their staff without needing specialised technical knowledge. Here is some of the work I carried out:
- Added ability for Mountain Ventures staff to edit their own web pages, without needing to hire a professional web developer.
- Improved layout of site, updating it to use more modern web standards. This will make it easier to maintain in the future.
- Improved look of the site, using CSS versions of menus instead of custom images.
- Cleanup of the internals of the site, making future work much more straightforward and saving Mountain Ventures costs on any further work.
The site is in static HTML (as implemented by the original developer) and the user-editable portions are done using cushycms. The site itself can be seen here: www.mountainventures.ie
